Building a list of ideal prospects is key to growing your income because the people on your list are the ones who will become your clients and customers. And it’s important to stay in touch with and nurture that list once you begin building it.
But many people get stuck at square one: which is, how do I build my list in the first place? The truth is, there are hundreds of ways, but today I want to give you a few methods that are “set it and forget it”…because list-building should be something that is going on 24-7 in your business.
Here are four simple strategies you may not have thought of:
1) Showcase testimonials about your freebie (You do have a freebie, right?)
2) Leverage transactional emails and webpages (For example, invite people to opt-in to get your freebie via autoresponders and thank you pages after a product purchase.)
3) Pre-schedule social media updates ahead of time (Hootsuite.com makes this easy.)
4) Run a Facebook Ad. Most list-building methods I teach are free, but this is a good exception. (Yes, you will have to track your results and possibly tweak your ad, but once you have one that is converting well, keep it running.)
Your to-do? Take at least one of these tips and implement it! Start with the one that’s easiest for you and then enjoy building your list in your sleep. 🙂
How about you? Are there any set it and forget list-building methods that you employ and want to share? Let me know in the comments!
