If you’re a mama I hope you had a beautiful Mother’s Day.
My Mom taught me compassion, resilience, the importance of education, and how to be kind. I cherish her every day of the year. 🙂
Growing up she also helped me when I was feeling stuck, but once I was out on my own I had to learn a whole new set of tools for this.
It’s an icky place to be, isn’t it?
I’ve been there many, many times.
Feeling stuck in a job that didn’t fit me. Feeling stuck in a marriage that wasn’t right. Feeling stuck when my business hit a plateau.
I’ve learned how to move out of that place now, and pretty quickly. Stuck-ness is still a place I visit from time to time, but I no longer camp out there for eons like I used to.
I could stay in that place for months, spinning.
At my Inside Out Retreat last week, I taught 3 very full days and evenings of content and strategy for creating the mindset of success.
One thing successful people have in common is NOT allowing themselves to languish in inaction, fear, and doubt. (In other words, stuckness.)

The key word being languish.
They go to that place, but they don’t.stay.stuck.there.
How?
Having a strategy around this is so crucial that I’m devoting this week’s video to sharing the 3 things you must learn to do when you find yourself here.
They are simple but profound, and will be your life preservers when you feel yourself drowning.
I use them all the time and hope you will, too.
Please check out the video, and in the comments, tell me what you do when you get stuck – good, bad or ugly. I think it’s a super important conversation to have, and you can never have too many tools in your toolbox for this.
P.S. Being a part of my free Facebook community is a great way to stay in action and OUT of stuck. I created this group for you to access the help, support, answers, relationships and inspiration to continuously stay motivated and move forward in your business. Join our incredible group here
Hi Christine:
Your comments were excellent. I know we all get stuck sometimes whether it’s business or life changes. My primary goal with my company in media services (writer, journalist, author and speaker) is to increase and further diversify cashflow and streams of revenue. Some of this has happened but i’m still frustrated with finding the new outlets for much more, especially in public speaking which I enjoy. I need and want to go to the next level and the marketing strategies are challenging.
I am familiar with the three strategies you posted in your video but thank you for reminding me of them and bringing them more sharply into focus. You are wondering great work. Please keep it up!
Margaret
Hi Margaret, thank you! I appreciate that immensely. Here’s to your next level – I wish you much success!
This is such an excellent message. I am currently stuck because of the turmoil in my life which is bringing me to a place of reflection about what is it that I really do want. In the past, when I have been stuck, my starting point is reflection and meditation and being open to thoughts and ideas, and to finding out where my resistance is coming from. And then moving to action. And, of course, having a wonderful supportive coach to help me through. That is my formula for getting unstuck. Thank you Christine, for your words of wisdom and support.
Thank YOU for sharing this hear dear Marybeth. So honored to know and work with you. Sending so much love. <3
