In keeping with tradition, I’m sharing my one-word “theme” for the upcoming new year.

2011 was about “discipline.” (Adding more of that to my life enabled me to more than double my income.)

2012’s word was “leap.” (I made many leaps this year which were both terrifying and exhilarating and have ultimately caused me to grow and stretch in the most wonderful of ways… even if not always comfortable.)

This coming year, it’s about REFINING.

Refining my standards even more.

Refining the leverage I already have in place and adding even more.

Refining my intentions and goals for what’s to come in my business (and life.)

In fact, I don’t think I’ve been this excited about planning for a new year before. A big reason for that is the fact that I have have become so much clearer and focused. So much closer to my purpose. Tolerating a lot less not-so-ideal stuff. (That’s something definitely worth celebrating!)

Most of all, I’m more psyched than ever about what I see I can accomplish in this world… and the many people I can help. And the refinement is a necessary part of moving that plan forward in the most effective way.

Bring on the new year. 😉

How about YOU? I always love to hear from my readers, especially around this topic. Do you have a “theme” word for the coming new year? Please share in the comments!
