Are you doing videos in your business right now? If not, what’s held you back? Let me know!
Great tips! DO you have a recommendation for a videocam/webcam?
Hi there! I use my iPhone 6 camera the majority of the time! I have a tripod for it and the video is always good quality. I also have a fancy Canon video camera I got a few years ago but don’t use it anymore since the phone works so well. Other smartphone cameras are really advanced these days too, not just iPhones, so you really can’t go wrong. Occasionally I will also use the webcam on my iMac. Hope that helps!
Great info, thanks Christine. I need to start doing this and will follow these tips!
The hair looks great too!
Thanks Susan! Let us know when your video is up so we can celebrate it with you! 🙂
Great video (and the hair looks very glam!! Good Job, hairdresser!)
Haha thanks Tracy! 🙂
Hi Christine,
Great video! I was wondering about sound. How do you ensure good quality sound on your videos?
Thanks,
Kristi

P.S.
The hair looks FAB. The hairdresser is a keeper!
Hi Kristi! First of all, thanks for the hair complement! I’m definitely diggin’ the ‘do now. 😉 For your question, it’s a great one! Obviously sound along with lighting are super important for videos. And I have to tell you, I don’t do anything special for mine – the majority of my videos are filmed on my iPhone 6 on a tripod! It actually gives off pretty good sound. But, if you want to ensure awesome sound, no matter what camera you are using, use an external mic. They even work with smart phones now. I recommend this one which is a really economical choice too: http://www.amazon.com/dp/B002HJ9PTO/ref=pe_385040_30332190_TE_M3T1_ST1_dp_1. Hope that helps!
Fantastic! You make so many good points, couldn’t agree more!
