Great post! As a social media professional myself, I find it hard to convince business owners to share their “personal life” or “‘behind the scenes”. They want everything to look perfect aka staged. How do you get around this excuse?

Yep, I’ve heard this for years. 😉 Basically it comes down to this: it’s a new economy and a new frontier (well, not so new as when I first started my business 6+ years ago!)–business as usual doesn’t work anymore. Not everyone gets this and I don’t like to work with people I need to “convince.” 😉 Results speak for themselves though–perhaps you can have them test with small baby steps. Stretching their comfort zone just a tad. Once they see the response, it will shift their mindset…
